Administrative Services
It is our goal to provide you with the best available care and facilities at a reasonable cost. We are a private organization and operate entirely without local, State, or Federal funding or charitable contributions.
We wish to provide an atmosphere of warmth and caring so that coming here is a pleasant experience for you. If at any time situations arise that upset, confuse, or irritate you, please talk with any of our staff. Our primary concern is your health and welfare.
Business Office Hours
Our business office is open 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday Friday. Appointment times may be scheduled later than 5:00 pm depending on your therapist. After 5:00 pm our phones are turned over to an answering service, who will contact a member of our staff for emergencies.
Appointments
Our staff makes confirmation calls two business days before your scheduled appointment. If for some reason you do not want us to make these calls to your home, please notify us.
A full counseling session typically lasts 50 minutes. Our counselors make every effort to stay on schedule. Emergencies do arise occasionally, and we respectfully request your understanding. When the emergency is yours, we will attend to it. If another person's emergency causes your appointment to begin late, you will be given the full amount of scheduled time if desired.
If you have waited 15 minutes past your appointment time, please notify the receptionist.
It is the client's responsibility to make appointments and to follow up with the plan of treatment.
Cancellations
If you find it necessary to cancel an appointment, please do so with as much advance notice as possible. There are other clients who could use your cancelled time slot. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice, and missed appointments without notice may be charged. Please cancel all appointments with the front desk staff, not in therapists' voicemail, unless otherwise instructed.
Payment
To eliminate the added cost of billing and collections, we require payment in full at the time of your appointment. We do bill a number of insurance companies, but you will still be responsible for making your co-pay payments at the time of your appointment. Please bring your insurance card to your first visit so that we might make a copy for our files.
